Safari New Update
Apr 06, 2021 Here’s how to upgrade Safari on Mac for macOS Mojave or later: Go to System Preferences and select Software Update. Wait for your Mac to check for updates. If there’s an available update, click Upgrade Now. To automatically receive macOS and Safari updates, check the box that says Automatically keep my Mac up to date. Apple has made Safari Technology Preview 130 available for download. Builds are available for macOS Monterey and macOS Big Sur. Java 8 update 45. Apple has today released a new version of its Safari Technology Preview app, bringing the version number up to the heady heights of 133. This new update is available for macOS Monterey and macOS Big Sur and both versions can be downloaded from the Apple developer website.

Safari for Mac
Safari is included with your Mac.
- To keep Safari up to date, install the latest macOS updates. The most recent version of macOS includes the most recent version of Safari.
- If you've deleted Safari and don't have a backup, reinstall macOS to put Safari back in your Applications folder. Reinstalling macOS won't remove data from your computer. Before reinstalling, you may want to use Spotlight to search for Safari. If you find it, but it's no longer in your Dock, just drag it to the Dock to add it back.
Safari for Windows
Apple no longer offers Safari updates for Windows. Safari 5.1.7 for Windows was the last version made for Windows, and it is now outdated.
- From the Apple menu in the corner of your screen, choose System Preferences.
- Click Software Update.
- Click Update Now or Upgrade Now:
- Update Now installs the latest updates for the currently installed version. Learn about macOS Big Sur updates, for example.
- Upgrade Now installs a major new version with a new name, such as macOS Big Sur. Learn about the latest macOS upgrade, or about old versions of macOS that are still available.

- If Software Update says that your Mac is up to date, then macOS and all of the apps it installs are up to date, including Safari, Messages, Mail, Music, Photos, FaceTime, Calendar, and Books.
